what is pear core?

Pear Core Records was founded

by Ray Perez and Abram Corona,

two broke musicians who love to

write and record music, not so they

can make money, or get famous,

but because writing music is the

best way that they can express themselves,

and part of expression is having an audience

to express to, so the two decided that rather

than play the game along with the

other gazillion players in the music industry,

they would just create their own game

in their own industry .

In this day and age musicians can record,

publish, and distribute their own works,

and that's what we are trying to do

to the best of our abilities and within

a non-existent budget.  We bring you

the music of Abram Corona, Ray Perez,

and our dearest friends who, like us,

can not live without writing music and

having others listen.  So Pear Core Records

is a troop, a tribe of friends helping each other

spread the word: music is a way to be free

not a way to make money.  Whether it is a blessing

or a curse, i am not sure, but it's definitely not a

career choice.  Our only choices are to write music

then pass out cd's and be happy, or bottle it up and be miserable.
